Documents Needed to Determine Child Support Income (Complex Cases)

This article is an extensive list of tax and financial documents that should be requested from potential payers of child and spousal support to allow determination of their income. While the requirements are simple for employed individuals, consisting primarily of three years of tax returns and Notices of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency, along with a recent pay stub, the needs are much more complex for self-employed individuals.
